I am distracted by occupational endeavors as of late. Not only do I feel like work takes up all my time, but the little time I do have is spent looking for new work. I'm starting to question my motivation for this seemingly endless search. A day job would allow me more time to see the people I love, to participate in more music related activities, including my own writing and recording process, which mostly happens in the evenings. Depending on the job, it would also allow me the feeling that I am not wasting time and ability on some insanely easy task. Lastly I'm hoping that whatever I get into will pay better. Are these motivations satisfactory?

There are things other than work that I want to be the focus of my life. Right now the days are passing in a blur, with nothing worthwhile taking place. I wanted to be in Saskatoon to spend time with friends and family, to work on some recording projects, to explore the prairie landscape that I love so much. None of this is happening (nearly as much as I would like it to).

I want to be able to write about interesting things that happen to me. I want to have a few adventures.
