Concert Review: Pilate and Stabilo
Pilate played first, an hour long set which blew my socks off. Seriously, this was the best show that I've seen since Coldplay. I think if Pilate had the resources Coldplay has, it would have been every bit as good. They have some phenomenal songs. Everyone in the band was entertaining to watch, and they were soo tight. The lead singer I heard has been classically trained and you could tell. He was amazing to listen to. The crowd was wild with delight. If you get a chance to see these guys, spend the twelve bucks before they get really famous.
Stabilo, whom I'd never heard of before, put on a stellar performance as well. Apparently they are from Trinity, so that was kinda cool. Their songs were almost Christian which was different but no one in the crowd seemed to care, or notice. They are definitely talented as well, and great entertainers. For the final encore the guitarist jumped off a riser that was probably 10 feet high off the stage and landed with great accuracy without falling. I don't know if I'd listen to their music apart from a concert, but if you have a chance to see them live, do it.
