June 16th, the day my allergic reactions began. Every year around the middle of June (last year it was the 14th) it hits me without warning. I can't see, my nose is running like a Kenyan, and I get very irritable. So that happened yesterday around 9am. By 11am, I asked if I could go to the medical clinic to get a prescription for some allergy drugs. So (thanks Shane) I went to the clinic and had to wait 50 minutes to see a doctor. Thankfully he was very easygoing and gave me just what I wanted. Then I headed up to London Drugs to get the script filled. That took another half hour. While paying for it, however, my bank card refused to work. So I had to book it back to Saturn, pick up my cellphone, dial 411 and ask to talk to my bank. They had forgotten to remove the hold on my paycheck, so that was fine, and then back to London Drugs. Alas, after this three hour ordeal, I went back to work and tried my best to do a good job. But I ended up leaving early, and today I called in sick. Here's to a day of lazing around the house with a kleenex stuck up my nose! Amelia's coming over to make me lunch, what a sweetheart. I really hope these drugs kick in soon, because we have band practice tonite, and a gig tomorrow nite. If you can, say a little prayer for me, it would be much appreciated.

"my nose is running like a Kenyan"...Great line, Matt! I gotta write that one down for future reference! Good to hear you're feeling better! EV
