NXNE wrapped up last weekend after playing host to over 400 bands from across the Earth.
Toronto's downtown bars and clubs were packed with eager music fans who caught a glimpse — and listen — of the new and old talent this great country has to offer.
Chart, being the music-crazed individuals we are, managed to catch 110 performances between Thursday and Saturday night. We put together a report card for each of them.
The talent was graded on their strengths and weaknesses in three categories: oral and visual communication, musical analysis, and other skills and areas of interest.
Here are our top performers at NXNE:

* 10. (tie) K'Naan with 90
* 10. (tie) Bedouin Soundclash with 90 points
* 10. (tie) The Waking Eyes with 90 points

so good, matt!! very exciting. i was looking through old pics at my parents the other day and saw some good ones of much younger matt hutchings and cam fraser! who would have thought back then that you guys would be travelling the country, making it big! i'm excited for you.
